The Swedish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Scandinavia attended the IFI Procurement Seminar on the 13th of June in Stockholm. It was jointly arranged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Business Sweden, and the Swedish Embassy of Kyiv, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss and enhance procurement processes supporting Ukraine.
The seminar commenced with an opening address by Minister Johan Forssell, setting the tone for an engaging and informative event. The initial sessions featured presentations from prominent organizations, including ProZorro, The World Bank, the EBRD, and the European Investment Bank (EIB). These presentations provided valuable insights into the current landscape of international financing and procurement.
Following the presentations, Swedish companies had the opportunity to share their experiences, highlighting the active role of Swedish corporates in the procurement processes. These firsthand accounts underscored the importance of collaborative efforts and the significant impact of international financing on Ukraine's development.
This event marks a significant step in fortifying the relationship between Sweden and Ukraine, demonstrating a unified approach to overcoming challenges and fostering economic growth through strategic procurement and international cooperation.
