Recovery Ukrainian medical infrastructure

The Ukrainian delegation, consisting of the Ukrainian Children’s Cardiology Center, the Military Hospital, and the Municipality of Kryvyi Rih, recently visited the production facilities of Swedish medical equipment manufacturer Getinge.

During the visit, the Ukrainian representatives gained valuable insights into the medical equipment production process, explored cutting-edge models, and toured the R&D center to learn about Getinge's latest projects.

In collaboration with the Getinge team and EKN Exportkreditnämnden the delegation discussed cooperation opportunities, logistics, and financial mechanisms for supplying medical equipment to Ukraine. They also explored possibilities for joint efforts in rebuilding Ukraine's healthcare infrastructure.

The Ukrainian delegates were highly impressed by the demonstration of Getinge's latest equipment and expressed a strong interest in establishing long-term partnerships for direct supplies to both public and commercial healthcare institutions.

The Swedish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Scandinavia and Innovations Development Lab extends its heartfelt thanks to Getinge Daniel M Szymon Kawalko Ph.D. and Cecillia Sjostedt for organizing this informative and engaging visit. This visit was part of the Ukrainian delegation's program for the event Rebuilding Ukraines Medical Infrastructure.
